Who is responsible of the renewal of my domain name?

Domain names should be renewed by the domain name owner prior to their expiration. Owners are sole responsible of the renewal of their domains. It is very important to keep your contact email address accurate to enable USA Webhost to send you such notifications.

We will do auto-renewals for established customers with good credit.

Can I recover a domain during the Redemption Grace Period?

Yes, it is possible. The recovery process is a long and expensive operation, it can take between 24 and 48 hours to make the complete recovery (including the propagation on the root servers). Our fee is $100. Most of that goes to pay the Registry operator. Please see the visual aide below.

Once the domain enters in redemption period, you have 29 days to make the recovery, after that time it is no longer possible to recover the domain name, and it may be acquired by someone else. As a matter of general knowledge, if the name interests a domain name speculator, it will be acquired by someone else 35 days after the registration expires unless it is renewed, or recovered. That is the "Backorder Market".
